Steve Jobs is not only an icon to the many who grew up watching him conquer the world of technology but can now be a childhood toy or collectable for generations to come.  A 12 inch action figure is now being sold by In Icons, although the production and sale of this toy have not yet been authorized, you can pre-order it now.  Another company in 2010 started selling Steve Jobs action figures and were immediately asked to stop selling by a law firm that was representing Apple.

The images of this toy found on the In Icons website are so realistic it almost looks at first to be a photo shoot of Steve Jobs himself.   When purchasing this product you will receive one realistic head sculpture, two pairs of glasses, one highly articulated body and three pairs of hands.  You can dress your own Steve Jobs doll in a black turtleneck and blue jeans, black socks and sneakers with a leather belt and a wood/metal chair.  You also get two mini apples one with a bite out of it and a back drop that reads “ONE MORE THING.”   Sounds like a lot of fun and creepy playtime for those who purchase this action figure.

If you would like one, don’t waste any time because I am sure there will be some sort of legal issues with the production of the Steve Jobs action figure unless they somehow get permission signed off.  The pictures shown on the In Icons site depict a hyper-realistic version of Steve Jobs but it is noted at the bottom that the images are of the prototype and final product may vary in color and appearance.  There are a limited number of figures and they are being sold on a first come first serve basis.  Reserve yours now and it will ship in Feb. 2012.
